Pedestrians

Whether you are walking to work, to the shops, or for your own pleasure, pedestrians are road users too. Other road users have a responsibility to look out for Vulnerable Road Users, like pedestrians, but as a pedestrian you have a part to play too.

Be aware of other road users and help them to be aware of you by staying alert while crossing roads, wearing reflective gear when walking after dark and ensuing you have made eye contact with a driver or cyclist before crossing their path. Be Bright & Be Seen and Share the Road.
