Brake Road Safety Week started on the 16th November. The Road Safety Team is fully booked this week, delivering Road Safety training and education across the East Riding of Yorkshire.
You could still organise your own event at school, college or work to raise awareness on road safety issues.
The theme for Road Safety Week 2025 is Safe Vehicles Save Lives. Brake states every year, more than 1,700 people die on UK roads. Another 30,000 receive serious, life-changing injuries. The numbers are shocking, and there has been no significant reduction for more than a decade.
